The Ontario Greybeards is Canada's first Masters Rugby League team.
The team is made up of a cross-section of Ontario residents that originate from all over the world, who share a passion for Rugby League.
The opportunities to socialize become fewer and fewer the older you get and we want to fix that. Our purpose is to bring people together to enjoy playing sport in a safe & social environment. There is no minimum requirement for fitness, experience, skill level or upper age limit. We welcome ALL players regardless of ability.
Masters Rugby League is a non-competitive social version of the sport for the over 35s. The rules are slightly modified to cater for older gentleman where the safety of old bones is paramount.
The sport was first played in New Zealand in 1992 and is now played across the world in countries such as:
New Zealand, Australia, UK, France, Ireland, Canada
